Delivery Driver

FARM DESCRIPTION:

Flynn Creek Farm is a certified organic farming operation in its third season of becoming a

regenerative farming operation. We will continue to develop and grow our produce operation as

well as introduce cattle for the first time alongside our sheep in our livestock operation. Our

produce will be sold primarily through all of the Forage Kitchen restaurants in Madison and

Milwaukee that we are developing a close working relationship with. We are committed to

building efficient systems, providing an educational and gratifying work environment, and

producing high-quality nutrient dense food for our local community.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Flynn Creek Farm is seeking an individual to deliver our produce to all Forage Kitchen

restaurants in the Madison and Milwaukee area three times a week. The delivery days will be

Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The individual will need a valid driver’s license with a clean

driving record, comfortable driving a sprinter van, and someone who is very punctual. Deliveries

need to be leaving the farm by 6:30 A.M. which means arriving to the farm by 6:00 A.M. They

will need to check the orders as they load, deliver the crates of produce efficiently using a dolly,

and return empty crates from the stores back to the farm. They will unload the van and help

re-stack crates and communicate anything necessary with the manager. This is a part time

position expected to take between 21-25 hours per week.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Fast, hands-on learner who takes instruction well, is not afraid to ask questions, and

quickly applies lessons learned to their work.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Desire to be punctual

  • Excited to be a key part of our farming operation bringing our product to our customers

  • Reliable, responsible, and self-motivated individual who is open to receiving feedback.

  • Strong communication skills among coworkers and managers

  • Ability to lift 10-30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds is required.

  • Reliable transportation to the farm is also required.

Hourly Rate

  • Starting at $18-19/hr (depending on skills / experience)
